Massage by Pook
In 2015 I was approached by a small business owner looking to have a simple website created to promote their business Massage by Pook from Shelton, WA. After meeting with the client to discuss their needs and understand their goals, it was decided that a simple one page website would accomplish the task.
I built this website on the bootstrap responsive framework. I utilized a sticky top navigation with scroll-spy to set the active attributes to the proper navigation elements as the user scrolled through the website. I implemented parallax scrolling images between the different sections of the webpage, and included a lightbox gallery for images of the office. The contact section uses a form to email feature which provided a popup modal confirmation upon submission and incorporates a Google RECAPTCHA control to prevent spam submissions.
I am currently working on an updated version of this site to present to the client, built on the WordPress platform, which will allow the client to integrate blog functionality. That project will be posted upon completion/acceptance.
